Our neighbor's side yard is still under water with a crust of ice on top.
I went for a little walk although it was minus
8 C but it was wind still. I took my gloves off at one time to take a picture and after a 45 minute walk they were still cold and tingling.

After a lot of snow and excruciating cold weather the temps went up and instead of snow we got so much rain for two days straight. the neighbor's yard is a lot lower than ours and since there is frost in the ground the water has nowhere to go. rivers are high and we've a lot of flooding. also power lines are down and a lot of people are without power. just a mess.
