Our outing last Wednesday took us once again to our second favorite park. Blythwood Park in Toronto.
I made a collage to better tell a story. we love going there because it's mostly in the shade with all the mature trees around and the second reason is - bc it's good exercise to climb all those stairs as well as walking down.
Let me explain the pictures.
2nd row picture #1 walking to the first set of stairs.
we figured there might be approx. 120-150 or more steps in the dog leash area of the park.
(next time we go there, I'll count the stairs. I might be too high more so than too low).
The dogs are suppose to be on a leash and although they claim a hefty find up to $5,000.00, hardly anyone has their dog on a leash. they just love to roam around and are enjoying the brook. one might get sprayed on or a wet nose touches your leg, but so what, it's summer. as you might notice in the pictures, everything is wire fenced so the dog can't get lost.
Picture # 2 & 3 show what goes up, must also go down at another area. the middle one shows a bit of the often rough terrain.
The three middle pictures are of the brook.
To finish it off, let me say the terrain is often quite rough with all the tree roots sticking up and one has to look where one walks not to fall flat on the nose. in this area, Grace holds on to my hand just in case.
( The ground was still wet and water on it. ).
