It's much wider and taller than this pictures shows.
when we first build our house, we planted a blue spruce tree. over the years it became so big that its roots came up underneath the back of our house. with tears in my eyes, I had to see it being duck up and destroyed.
Then we went to buy a young crimson maple and after more than 20 years it grew into this gorgeous tree.

Heather usely are purple when it blooms. I was a little later, ( Belgium was closed by corona rules. The field is most Dutch but the parking is in Belgium.) Most has done.
