Grey heron ready to take flight

On our way to the saw mill, where Grace's dad also has his residence, I saw a heron standing at the side of the dirt road. I alerted my daughter to slow down a bit. as we got closer and closer, it took to flight, settle down again and finally disappeared over the pond.
