It brings wonderful memories back for me and Hans. we had Britney. our granddaughter stay over every second weekend for us to give her mom and dad some alone time.
When Britney turned 21 ( 11 years ago ) I sat down one day and started to write my very first and only poem of all the good times we had together. I was encouraged by a poem my late sister wrote about our home town, Hamburg, Germany when she lived in Chicago, USA and thought I give it a try.
Oh the memories just came flooding in while I was writing the poem. I confess, Hans was helping me. we wrote first about Britney and two years later her brother, Grant joined in the fun.
