On our walk yesterday, we came across some trees which featured some birdfeeders. we saw blue jays, cardinals, finches and of course squirrels, believing they were birds. lol.
If you look close enough, you see a dark shadow on the tree about the height of the square birdhouse.
when I pointed the camera to take a picture of the black squirrel sitting in the birdhouse, he jumped out and slit down the side of the tree.
Lots of people feed the birds. we came across a parked car with a gentleman sitting in it facing the trees. he had a mat stretched across his car hood filled with various birdseeds. another time we saw a man standing close to the trees with his hand stretched out full with seeds. we approached him and asked him if the bird come and take the food of his hand. yes was his answer and we watched for awhile. so nice to know that people care.

great to know that people do care and still feed the wild life
