Seedheads of Pasque flowers. by bruni

Seedheads of Pasque flowers.

I came across these on my walk and have no idea what they are an what they looked like before.
I like to thank my followers who identified this flower for me.
So interesting! Sort of like dandelion seed heads. The texture (not the stems) remind me of our Apache Plume.

Bruni - they look like the seed heads of Pasque Flowers. I have a few in the garden but never seen them in the wild. Purple flowers...have a google on that one! I'd love to have seen this when they were flowering.

@Cherrill Thank you for identifying this plant. I took a picture of it on my walk through the neighborhood. it was in a front garden. I zoomed it front the street - not to go in some ones driveway.
