Inspired by my meeting with Stuart King on Thursday, I thought I would have a try at turning one of his little wooden flowers. Although I have never tried this before, I felt I could have a go at making the flower pot and flower from the same piece of wood (I got that bit right).
I am so pleased with this first attempt, although it looks more like a tree, than a flower.
Booo-tiful ! I can see you creating Xmas trees in pots and other wooden decorations for next Christmas -- but not as mass production --that would be boring -- it is the individuality of your work that makes it worthwhile and a delight to any craftsman !
Looks like a little Christmas tree! If you make the tree a little bigger, or the pot a little smaller I think you could solve all next years Christmas presents! Like the lighting/shadow you used.
