Nov 15: 'Shopping/Store'

During a really busy day in the office... well, working from home... well at home (and walking the dogs)... The little people asked me if they could go out.

"Where could we go" I thought... "What is todays word" I thought... "TO THE TOY SHOP! YEAH!!!"

This is the local toy shop to me and it is fantastic. They have a great selection of little-people and we all felt very at home.

Working in offices is so last year, working at home is the new way...... any luck with job hunting?

It is a great shop but the big scary Playmobil did frighten the little people. So much so we may have had to buy reinforcements to get out.

I can sense your excitement as you pause to take your shot before entering and can almost hear all the little people squeaking with fear in your pocket as they spot the giant menacing pirate. Bet you had fun, we have a Toymaster here too but no pirate thank goodness.

@tishpics - The silly thing about your comment, is that I did actually have three little people in my pocket. I was aiming to park opposite the shop, lift the little people up onto the roof and take a shot of the shop with them in the foreground. Unfortunately after the episode with the Scenic on the 27th Sept, I could not bring myself to put them on someone else's car.

@bluefirebucket - It's not me, the little people made me do it.

@suebarni - Mrs Bulldog will not go into a toy shop with me, she gets embarrassed when I start shouting "Look at all these wonderful bits!"

@httpgeffed - It is great and whenever possible I do try and use it as these small independents need our support.

@joluise - I did add to the family, I now have a goat, horse, pig and some fence (plus some more people to look after them).

I haven't been in a toy shop for years, all the kids Playmobil, Lego, Brio etc is up in the loft! Made me realise that that era of my life is behind me. Ah well, tempus fugit!! This looks an exciting place for little people.
