After a busy evening yesterday and early start today, I was starting to 'Flag' by mid afternoon.
My eldest has gone to London village for the week, so I took some time off to decorate his room. You would not believe how much stuff a 23 year old can hoard and how many holes in the walls he needs!
But think how much better holes are than tape! I remember one son's room that was completely filled with posters put up with tape. Ugh (Tho wallpaper's close.)
Oh...THAT I totally understand...our son (21) just moved his stuff back after finishing college...he doesn't stay here but all his 'stuff' is here! (he lives at his GF's place).
Oh Mr Bulldog. You would make me feel very lazy but feeling lazy just seems like hard work. Great shot. Fantastic job you're doing there. Hope we get to see the finished project :)
Yes I can - I have taken over my 21 year old room - now my study and the entire room and ceiling needs to be repainted - almost done, except for the cupboards that will need to be patched up and painted.
Keep at it! I cleared up the kids' gubbins from around the dining table (where they do homework etc) when my family came over and it took about 5 boxes to remove it all..! (It's now in their bedrooms uhoh)
Ha ha ha.. I may just do that...
I have done all the sanding, painted the ceiling and now I have to wait for the paint to dry (pop to the pub). @caddick
@dandolo ha ha ha ~ I can relate to that, but my daughter is only 27 and still asks me where is 'this and that' and I have moved since she moved out so she has all her stuff now :-)
@bulldog you seem to be doing a great job ~ when my daughter moved in March I managed to persuade her to keep the wallpaper up the stairs despite the fact that she hated it ~ I am her DIY'er and I got away with just painting the stairs, although I did have to paper bedrooms and living room .. still got the boys room to finish ...
(Hmmmm..... but i think the comment about 23 year olds isn't necessary... ;))))
