I don't normally get involved in political arguments but having just walks 10 mile with Shit-head, through the Chiltern hills, it will be such a shame if the Government ruin this area with the Pointless waste of money that is HS2.!
You can't understand the mentality can you......improve the railway we have! I hate that so much of our green fields are going either for houses or rail.
It would be such a shame to lose all this gorgeous scenery, but with a population of over 65 million in the UK I think it will go either to the railways or housing before long.
