Once I have removed all the paper and sanded this back down, there was just enough faint image left to start tracing over it with my art iron, to burn the image onto the wood.
Following on fro this, it was re-sanded and sprayed with a clear lacquer finish, which is now drying in Mrs B's shed (less dust in there). Stage One - Stage Two - Stage Three
