We've had a fabulous weekend for weather, and with our family to entertain things couldn't have gone better. We had a day at Audley End house today for the Victorian weekend. All sorts of shows and games to watch and try out. Still maintaining a flower a day for May but this time with a difference.

Wow -- this is a great shot! I am thinking of posting a tulip one from this morning and it's quite a contrast as I was in front of one of our subway stops! Love the color and the dramatic architecture behind the tulip beds.
Did you see the black swan on the river Judith? The garden looks like it is more in flower than a few weeks ago when I visited. You chose a wonderful warm day to visit....I bet it was busy.
@lesleyallen No, I didn't see the black swan, and yes it was very busy - queue's everywhere. I was a bit disappointed with the flower beds but was pleased the photo turned out so well.
great POV here, lines of tulips leading to the part of the house that has the sunshine. I like the close-up flowers, so makes for an interesting sense of scale difference.
