Christmas puddings made! by busylady

Christmas puddings made!

This used to be one of my half term jobs but now that I'm retired it doesn't matter if I'm a bit late. The recipe in the background is from an old Prima Christmas supplement from 1991. I can't believe I've been using the same recipe for over 20 years!
A super seasonal capture.

With those ingredients, it looks like a recipe worth repeating. When you have a winner why change anything?

Its amazing how much Christmas Preparations we used to do in the Autumn 1/2 term hols !! I used to do my Christmas cake , puddings & mincemeat Now being a diabetic I no longer make my own pud . I love to make Christmas pudding my self. Is it difficult?
November 8th, 2013
@elinreppe No it's not difficult, but there's a lot of ingredients and it has to be steamed for about 4 hours. I'll send you an email with more details.

Rum & stout...that seems to be a recipe to be used again & again...well loved so keep using it I say!! There looks to be enough ingredients to make a few more there Judith!!
November 8th, 2013
@happypat I didn't get the idea for the shot until after they were all made - so I had to get all the ingredients out again! I pinched the composition idea from a shot in a Delia cookbook!
