I was so shocked to hear of the killing of a teacher in front of her pupils yesterday that I wanted to post something beautiful to remember her by. She was 61 and was shortly to retire from her beloved profession, having taught and inspired thousands of pupils for over 40 years. She was much loved and respected - what a tragic waste of life.
A lovely tribute Judith -- a lovely lady from what I have read , devoted all her life to educate the young and to miss out in the freedom and leisure time she so much deserved !
Such a shocking tragedy.........it beggars belief that a fifteen year old would even think of doing anything like that....?He must be a torchered soul!
This is a lovely tribute and I agree with your sentiments completely. It must make you think especially because you were a teacher. what a wicked world we live in nowadays. I'm sure the child that killed her must have some terrible mental health problem because all the other children and past pupils can't speak highly enough of her. Fav
Education never used to be so dangerous. I worry with kids carrying guns, getting angry about grades, etc. That's something I won't miss upon retiring. This is a lovely tribute.
