Rusting away by busylady

Rusting away

This formerly loved boat was resting/rusting on the sands looking towards Piel Island on the west coast of Cumbria. We were hoping to take the ferry over to the island but it was quite windy and the ferry wasn't running. Thanks for all your comments and fav's on yesterday's sunset picture.
3 good things
1. First French beans picked
2.Feeling refreshed after a 4-day break celebrating 44 years together!
3.Meeting up with a good friend from our time in Canada (now living in Lancashire)
excellent shot

It still looks strong and in one piece - maybe it wouldn't sell. Be great to renovate and then chug away!

Love your POV and the emotions generated. So many lovingly crafted items discarded and left to rot.
