I haven't posted a patchwork picture for ages but I've been working on a large quilt, which still isn't finished. However, today was a playday, a workshop run by Moira Neal. She showed us how to make these small applique pictures and then turn them into postcards. She provided the designs and the basic materials and we added bits of fabrics from our scrap bags. We then machined them to add detail and character. They actually have a postcard back so I suppose it would be possible to send them through the post. I have made the pink cat for my granddaughter, so shhh don't say a word!
