Macro plus

I've been on a photography study day today with the U3A. A really good day with various workshops, illustrated talks and displays. I chose the macro and the architecture workshops, so here's a few of the shots I took today. I actually got to grips with my macro lens for the first time today - I think! The workshop was in Hemingford Grey, a really attractive Cambridgeshire village, although we didn't venture far from the venue.

Nice collection of shots. My fav is the bottom r/h photo.... is it part of a wood carving ?
I was disappointed I couldn't make this workshop it sounds like it was interesting.
