The Bishop's Palace, Wells

Next to Wells Cathedral is this magnificent building, which has home to the Bishops of Bath and Wells for 800 years. With a moat, lakes, splendid gardens and the Autumn colours beginning to show it was a joy to take in the beauty of this peaceful place.
