Allotment season by busylady

Allotment season

I've been down to the allotment a couple of times this week as the weather has been warmer and the soil is not so wet. I got a good fire going today and burnt most of the rubbish which had accumulated over the winter and more besides. The onion sets are now planted in the bed you can see just newly dug.
It looks like a lovely place to have an allotment. I like your cup on the bench ..

I love seeing your allotment photos Judith. We saw some allotments today & a few were working on them. Yours looks lovely & tidy & the cup of tea is a lovely touch! Lots of happy hours spent there!

@bintal @happypat Oh I'm glad you both noticed the cup of tea. There is also a half eaten biscuit there too!

You've certainly been busy. The soil looks rich. You should have a nice garden soon. I like all that is to see in this picture.

Fantastic. We have a large garden but not really vegetables territory ...but fun to plant some at Mum's when I'm up. 😊
