Gramophone cabinet

This is our new new hallway which has recently been finished. I'm busy refinishing this old gramophone cabinet which used to belong to Peter's grandparents, to put in the hallway. I'm planning on varnishing the top and painting the rest matt grey to match the painted wall on the left.

A lovely piece of furniture -I am afraid I would want to keep it in a dark oak finish ! but I am 4looking forward to the finished result and I am sure will be pleasantly surprised !

It's BEAUTIFUL and I think you'll know when you're doing it......take some photos and edit them with grey to see....I think it will work with your lovely walls and floor!! 😊

Whatever you decide, you must post an image! I like the sound of either, but I'd be petrified to put paint on that wood. But that's not to say it won't look good. I'm just a wimp! Your tiles are lovely!
