Organ at Marienkirche, Berlin

We dropped into a lunchtime organ recital at this church in the Mitte district of Berlin. The oldest church in Berlin, building of the church was begun in 1230, but was rebuilt and expanded after two fires. The organ is a masterpiece built by Joachim Wagner in 1721.
What an amazing organ. You've photographed it beautifully. It is hard to believe such and exquisite instrument has been around such a long time. Fav.

@bkbinthecity It did, and the recital included an introduction to how the different stops worked and sounded. I liked the flutes best.
