Peter is cutting up all the wood he has acquired so far this summer before his big knee op in 10 days time. It was a massive task so I helped with stacking the wet wood at the bottom and the dry wood on top. Also with the big sweep up afterwards. He is using the log splitter for the larger logs which saves a lot of effort with the axe.
Harry examined this photo closely as you can imagine! He was interested in the machine & all the wood...great job Peter! It’s good to have the wood store stocked up! Good luck with the knee op too!
You are all set for winter. All our logs have been split and chopped long ago and we are half way through winter now so our log supply is disappearing daily. Thank heaven for log splitters and chain saws, they make the job much easier.
