Wind in the willows by busylady

Wind in the willows

Our riverside park has an abundance of willow trees, and the wind was very strong today. This is the area of park near to the tree clearing picture I posted yesterday. Peter was pleased to see that all of the felled trees were not willow but it's unlikley that he will be able to claim any for the log burner as there is no easy access at this point.
Good things today - I tried a new cake recipe for a marmalade polenta cake - delicious. I collected the grasses from the kind lady who offered me some free ones yesterday. So kind, and I had never met her before!
Nice perspective. I like the bridge and the framing with the tree. Very pretty. I like how you are listing good things for today. That is a nice habit to make!
