A long way to go

During lockdown I started this cross stitch design which I bought some years ago. There is still a long way to go but it's taking shape now. It's called a Cumbrian Village and I wondered if anyone recognised this set of houses? I think I will need a longer lockdown to finish it!
I've been missing for a few days as we've been doing some child-minding and I haven't found time to take any pictures. Hopefully back on track now.
Good thing today - I played tennis this morning - the club is beginning to open up again.
Looks very nice

Looking good. I’ve seen a few cross stitches with similar pictures. Don’t know where this is though! I’m still plodding on with my dolls house!

Looks like it’s a kit with the right colours of embroidery thread....it’s a very pretty design...love the red door! I bet you felt like doing that first!

@happypat You're right Pat - I did! There's an awful lot of browns and greys, but I didn't include thiose threads in the picture

I've noticed Derwentwater designs and as you said Cumbrian Village but I do not recognise the houses. Some years ago my wife and I stayed for a week in Keswick. It was lovely! We remember clearly and still talk about the walk around Derwentwater and the surprise we had when we could not go over a certain footbridge half way into our walk and had to extend our walk by an unplanned 4 or 5 km.
I like how you put the threads and your work in progress together.
