Despite the extra time during lockdown I still find myself with not enough time. This weekend I have been making a child's Victorian waistcoat for Victorian week at school next week. Henry is quite excited and said they will have rice pudding on the menu!
This clock once belonged to Peter's grandparents, although the clock face and the movement are not original. It chimes comfortingly on the hour and the half hour and keeps excellent time.
Good things today 1) a quick coffee with a friend to pick uo some plants for Katherine's garden 2) Beef stifado for dinner - a throwback to a holiday in Greece
Something so soothing in the tic toc of an old clock - love that face ! What a labour of love - to sew a Victorian waistcoat for Henry - you must be his favourite grandma !!
I was laid off last year and of course stayed home a lot. THen I got another job where I worked more hours than the old one and I feel the press of time every week.

yes, agree, somehow, even though we have more time, there is not enough time for everything
