Bank holiday get together

We often get together in our cul-de-sac with the neighbours for a chat, a coffee or this evening for an aperitif. We all turned up with our chairs and drinks and sat in the evening sunshine. Eventually it turned into an impromptu BBQ so we brought out the sausages, baked potatoes and whatever else we could find. I had made a fruit cake in the afternoon which was still warm so we shared that as well.
