Thank you for all your hopes, prayers and fingers crossed, but sadly no going home for me today! Infection still too high, but they're changing my antibiotics to oral so that the treatment can continue at home.
I'm still keeping cheerful though and have been practicing writing with my toes to develop muscle strength!
My daughter came back from Cornwall at the weekend and brought me back these treats and a bag from the Eden Project!
So sorry to read this Judith, good to know that you are keeping your spirit up. Still hoping that you will be able to go home soon. Wonderful eats from your daughter, hope they taste as good as they look.
Judith, so sorry to hear you are in hospital. Is it Covid? I do hope you are recovering well & will be home soon. I had a bit of a shock last month learning that I have a rare lymphoma. I am more or less symptom free at the moment, & as the disease progresses slowly, a good prognosis for my age. It is a difficult time for so many.. Be well soon, my friend
Thank you Lesley, no it wasn't covid but apparently septic arthritis. It began with intense pain in my ankle, passing out and being taken to hospital by ambulance. Quite scary but I'm on the mend now. So sorry to hear of your diagnosis.
