Tomatoes ripening

The tomatoes have largely been left to their own devices this year as I was in hospital when they were needing attention. Needless to say they went a bit wild with no-one to pick out the side shoots or feed them when necessary. Peter did water them so I was grateful for that. Nevertheless they are now beginning to bear fruit and ripen so all is not lost.
We are out to our first event of the year later - an outdoor golden wedding party. We just hope the rain has cleared by then and it's not too cold! Now just what to wear?'
