This cosmos is about 5 feet tall! It has grown up in competition with these tall yellow daisies so is competing for sun I expect.
Good things, our patchwork group started up again today - only 7 of us but at least it's a start. We took along some of our lockdown projects and we all enjoyed catching up again and seeing what we had been up to over the last 18 months.
My friend told me to get some Cosmos, she loves them but someone else told me they are annuals….I would rather have perennials so can you put me right Judith, I would love to grow some of these as they are really attractive.
@happypat Hi Pat, you're friend is right they are annuals. However, if you let them go to seed they will happily self seed and you will find them popping up all over. These were grown from seed before I went into hospital and when I came home I wasn't able to plant them out. I had to ask a couple of friends to hep me out!
