Manor house, St Ives by busylady

Manor house, St Ives

Better known as the River Terrace tea-rooms. We stopped off in St Ives, Cambridgeshire this morning for a coffee in this attractive restaurant. The timbered Manor house was built in 1588 and is a listed building. The River Terrace overlooks the River Great Ouse, so it's a pleasant outlook overlooking the old bridge from where I took the picture.
Fabulous capture of this beautiful setting! I love these old buildings on the waters edge. It looks like a fabulous place to spend an afternoon.

What a beautiful setting, would love to sit on that terrace!

I havent watched bake off since it changed channel. I didn’t like the format. I also get really bad earache if I watch and don’t record something like that off you know who, he’s the same with Strictly too. This year Sara Davies was in it. I wanted to see how she did because I know her but I’ve had to record it and watch it when he was asleep!

@craftymeg oh dear! My hubby doesn't like it either but puts up with it. I don't like the new presenters, and felt very sad when the old team were no longer there, it's just not as good. However, the format is pretty similar. I only watch it from the recording so I can fast forward the ads.
