Resting swan

Another swan from our walk around the lakes at Rushden yesterday. The sun was shining and the swan was enjoying the warmth.
We got together with our neighbours at our end of the cul-de-sac this evening to switch on our Christmas lights. The children love running about in the dark and the adults enjoy the mulled wine and mince pies. We've done this for many years and we welcomed another new family to the tradition this year.
