There was quite a heavy frost last night as it was just 3 degrees C. The hydrangeas looked pretty in the first sunshine we've had for nearly a week.
We were due to look after our 5 year old grandson today but when he felt hot this morning I checked his temperature and it was 38.8. His Mum took him straight home and sadly he has now tested positive for covid. Now his older brother is also positive! Not good news as we may also be at risk. Christmas is now on hold for another year.
Oh Judith. I'm so sorry to hear your news. You must all be so disappointed.
Your photo is lovely. The hydrangeas have kept their colour well and look so pretty with their icy edges.
Ooh Judith - I am so sorry - its bad enough seeing the little ones suffer at normal times , but so sad to have to put Christmas on hold again this year May they get over it quickly and hope you and hubby have escaped it this time ! A beautiful capture of your hydrangea - doesn't it look pretty with the frosty edginds !
So sorry to read this update. Hope all soon feeling fine soon but after all your preparations it's very disappointing for you all.
Love the hydrangeas.
That is so unfortunate Judith….you will be very sad about that & your grandsons the youngest victims of covid I know! I’m quite shocked actually….I took it with a pinch of salt that kids as young as that could get it! Hope all will be well. Take care & try not to worry. Xx
A lovely frosty image.Fav😊. Sorry to hear your grandsons have tested positive.Hope you don't catch it, too.My nineteen year old granddaughter has just tested positive, too.so she's spending Christmas in her bedroom
makes a lovely picture with those frosted edges. I hope the grands bounce back quickly and if you happen to have caught it, that it is very mild or better yet asymptomatic . At the beginning of this covid madness they said it's not a matter of if but when you will contract it. Looks like they were correct.
Oh I am really sorry Judith, our Christmas has also been put on hold! Hoping the boys have mild symptoms and that you do not get it. Beautiful shot of the frosted hydrangeas.
Oh, so sorry to hear about the covid. Fingers crossed that everyone who does get it has mild symptoms. Also fingers crossed that you and Peter do not get it. It's out there big time ... the only one in our close family who hasn't had it yet is our daughter. A lovely frosty capture though, Judith.
Beautiful shot. So sorry you have Covid in the family,I hope everyone recovers quickly and you keep testing negative. We too have cancelled our Christmas get together as it’s too risky. So we will hold it next month instead….. hopefully …
