Bee and thistle

We stopped at Flamborough Head on the way home and the bees were all over the thistles. Good to have time to stop and watch them.

I was bare-footed in the bedroom this morning and was stung by a bumble bee , gosh it did sting - I knocked him off with my hair-brush . Fortunately I had a tube of antihistamine cream in the bedroom - so I applied that straight away - it feels OK now !!
