In memory of the Queen

Our church organised a vigil for the Queen today at 12 noon. Just a small gathering but a place for people to meet and remember Queen Elizabeth's life of dedication and service. Our minister is pictured here during one of the periods of silence. We followed a printed service for the death of a sovereign.

Such a sad time as we all mourn our Queen. I remember my mother telling me the King had died and when it was the the Queens Coronation we all recieved a Coronation mug at school which I still have.
