Coronation mug and flowers nf 8

I've been making this wine bottle carrier for some friends who are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary soon. I went in search of something to photograph with it and came across Peter's parent's coronation mug from 1937 showing King George V1 and Queen Elizabeth. Another SOOC challenge with my 50mm lens.

What a lovely gift and a great nifty fifty capture. My son has pinched my 50mm lens along with my 40mm pancake lens,it’s on permanent loan as I use my bridge camera because it’s lighter for my shoulders to use than my canon SLR camera which is quite a lot heftier.

Oh and yes I did draw the chain on yesterdays photo.
