The ducks followed me around the lake, but sadly I had nothing for them.
We had our book group Christmas get together and lunch today at a local cafe. We had been reading The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah. A really informative historical novel about America in the 1930's, during the terrible dustbowl, and the drought. I walked home through the park, as the sun was setting.
