Great St Mary's, Cambridge

This late 15th century church in Cambridge offers panoramic views over the Cambridge colleges. It's free to enter but there is a charge to go up the tower.
We had a good day's shopping on this busy day, and managed to find quite a few Christmas gifts.
Update: the bikes are just parked there, probably not visiting the church. This is typical of Cambridge. The posters are adverts for upcoming events, shows and recitals.

Love this iconic British scene, especially the red telephone boxes! Curious about all the placards (?) along the fence...? Fun to see so many bicycles! Nice Christmas bow and ornament decoration! Can't quite tell what it is hanging from, tho'... Glad you had a good outing! :-)
