It's our last night of the holiday and we stopped in Nijmegen, Holland having not booked a hotel. It's usually pretty easy to find somewhere for one night, but the roads were closed, and it was impossible to find a way through. We stopped to ask for directions, this very kind man in the pic above tried to help us to find somewhere to stay. He found all the hotels were full as Kanye West was appearing in the town, a one -off performance. Piet Heim offered us a room for the night!!! We accepted and found we got on so well, took them out for dinner and spent the evening swapping stories and laughing a lot. What a wonderful evening, and such kind people
