It's hard to believe that working boats like this are still in use today, this one (not named) was seen at Foxton locks. I've seen this one earlier in the year, with it's buddy boat "Ore", carrying coal/coke and wood for heating on board the pleasure narrow boats.
Great reflections. Good that this can still be used to take the pressure off the roads.

A lovely shot, and fascinating that these narrow boats are still used for cargo. That is something I've not seen, although I have seen larger barges deliver coal to Ferrybridge Power Station on the Aire and Calder Navigation.
