@olivetreeann Hi, how are you after your op?, I'm doing fine thank you, the sling was allowed off for a time last week, slowly working up to now where I just rest it in the sling mid afternoon and I'm working on the restricted movement and loss of strength . Still early days and a full return to normal is expected, so all is good really thank you.
@bybri I am on the mend and doing well with the exception of the weather which conspires against me!! LOL On sunny days I feel great! The mobility in my knee is coming back, the nerves are waking up and sending me "zingers" to let me know it and I'm slowly able to straighten the leg to a point where the physical therapist is happy. BUT then it rains! and rains and rains and boy does it set me back. I'll get through it. I have to remind myself I'm only 6 weeks out of surgery and I'm expecting to feel like it's been a year. So I'm a bit tough on myself. But all in all, doing very well. As soon as I went off the pain meds I was allowed to drive and that's been great. So you and I will keep plugging along! I still marvel at the fact that I have new parts in me- bone taken out and mechanics put in. It's crazy!
