This is our pet bunny Mya. She's a lionhead rabbit. She's been with us for almost 3 years. Many people seem surprised when they learn we have an indoor bunny .... but, She's house broken (uses a litter box), and has never had an accident outside her cage the whole time we've had her. She looks adorable, but she loves to chew cords. Like cell phone and ipad chargers.
When she is happy she does a "binky" which is this funny/cute thing were she jumps up high and throws her legs to the side.
She's quite adorable. When my kids were little they wanted a bunny, of course, among a million other things. I looked up their care and found a website devoted to discouraging people with casual interest from adopting them at Easter time. Because they do things like chew cords and need more accommodation than most people are ready to give them. So the people often give up on them after a short while. I'm glad your story has such a happy ending.
Thanks! She was given to us, because the previous owners couldn't care for her.
@moonmtn yes she lets us pet her. But ... it's all on her terms. If she wants to be petted she nudges you. If she's had enough she runs off. She loves treats (fruit, greens, herbs, etc) and the kids love when she stands up on her hind legs and begs. :-)
@mbrutus I agree ... bunnies are a lot of work. She's very entertaining though.

Thank you.
Yep, we have to make sure cords are hidden. She's suppose to stay off the couch, but if we're in the other room she will jump up on the couch and give you an innocent look.
Very cute! There is a house-rabbit society in my area. Even adopted a rescue cat to a woman with an indoor-rabbit-- she said they buddied up and the cat would try to eat the rabbit's veggies.

Thanks everyone.
I had a rabbit for my kids when they were young and they loved her, she loved to chew as well!
Thank you.
