fiance Dean has been wanting to adopt a dog again. His SEVENTEEN year old golden retriever , Shiloh , passed away about a year ago . He has been wanting a dog ever since, and I kept saying we're not home enough. Then in mid November he was in a car accident and shattered his left leg - from the knee down. I kept saying I'm so glad we didn't get another dog yet! He was in the hospital for over 2 weeks.
He is still pretty immobile, and doesn't travel far from the couch yet, except for dr and physical therapy appointments.
His sister got.him this little stuffed puppy and they named him Max. That's my kinda dog for the time being at least. This was dean's first day home. Our youngest Vanessa was all smiles.
Hope he is continuing to get better. Lovely pup and the smile too! If he wants he can adopt a photo of Trevor from my album. He is 13 weeks old at the mo and into everything!
thanks everyone. The temps have below zero here in WI so another reason I"m glad I don't have to let a real dog out, haha. But, someday.
And Dean is on the mend, just a slow process.
