This was my Christmas Eve photo. I spend almost every other holiday working at the hospital in radiology. One of our CT scanners went down.
This was the inside of the computer console that died. It was not a fun day trying to get all the scheduled patients, in patients, and emergency room patients done in one room.
I told the engineer that came to work on the machine I felt bad that he had to work.Christmas Eve. He said it was only the second time in 30 some years.
Cool photo. It brings back a lot of memories of when I worked for Philips. I dreaded call on the holidays. The last year I worked I missed Thanksgiving because the CT scanner in St. Mary's Pa. ( 4 hours from home ) blew the X-Ray tube.
@pej thanks Paul. Bummer, I know, everyone working in medical knows the dread of missing holidays. I've been at the same hospital for 18 years now, and still have to work 2 or 3 holidays a year!
