Pecan by calm

Pecan

We drive more than 800 miles round trip to eat dinner at my Aunt Helen's house on Thanksgiving. She has 2 pecan trees in her yard that we raid each year... enjoy fresh pecans all winter! And Aunt Helen's pecan pies are the best! So is her turkey and dressing, grapes-in-the-snow salad, fried okra, sweet potatoes, lady peas, country ham biscuits, creamed corn, scalloped potatoes, fried apple and apricot pies, keylime cake, and that isn't all! A feast!!!
What wonderful memories you must have at Aunt Helen's! Love this picture of the Pecan bursting forth. Another amazing creation!

I used to live beside a pecan orchard in Alabama so I know what you mean about fresh pecans! I love 'em! And, your Aunt sounds like a wonderful cook! Great focus and dof on the photo!
