Driving Rain

Dare I admit we drove for more than 5 hours in the rain to buy bacon for Christmas morning? Yes, it is that good. My apologies to you vegetarians!

ok, so I love bacon, my husband loves bacon...but a 5 hour drive to get it? was that round trip? oh man...I think we would probably do without it...but of course we have a really great place right close to get fantastic pepper bacon..which is in my fridge waiting to be cooked...

@vickisfotos Yes... that was round trip. And we did have a stop to make along the way. But to order over the internet adds $4 a pound, plus they were 3-4 weeks behind on orders. We stood in line and waited for our bacon to be sliced. We bought 20 pounds, to share with friends and neighbors!
