Lovely vintage clasp on a pearl necklace given to my Grandmother by my Granddad. February has me pondering the long line of love I am a part of .... great grandparents, grandparents, parents and more than 30 years of marriage myself... guess we are a stubborn bunch, sticking it out in good times and not so good times!
Cathy, I think this is an awesome photo! I've heard you talk like this before....remember....a grate that's not so great? LOL. I do believe it hit the pp page! Anyway, I love your focus on this and dof. Great choice of the linen background too, so it's a fav for me. Congratulations on 30 years! That's awesome, although you don't look old enough to be married that long so you must have been an awfully young bride!
@cindymc You should have a second job as a cheerleader... you always brighten my day! The Facebook photo of me and my better half is at least 10 years old... so we do look younger in that photo... we were!
I do love family things to treasure. My daughter was upset when I devided up my mothers things. her cousins seemed to get more than her. But she has been pleasantly surprise on different birthdays or special occasions that something from Nanna's has become hers. I just needed to have and to hold for a while longer.
@calm - Well, I was being honest. I think all of your pictures are great and I think you are your biggest critic! I don't think you know how good you really are. Hang in there, friend.
@tesssa Sounds like you are blessed to have some tangible things that speak of your heritage... they are treasures! I am blessed to have a number of things from my Daddy's side of the family, partly because there were only two children, and my aunt has lovingly preserved and passed on family things... she has labeled everything with memories!
