Friends, some of you may have noticed I haven't posted many photos lately. I don't feel as if I have challenged myself or improved any in recent months. So until I do, the posting will be sparse. Right now, I am totally uninspired, haven't bothered to pick up a camera for days and days. But I plan to keep checking on your photos from time to time, cheering you on. Keep posting your wonderful photos... perhaps I will have a renewed sense of inspiration in the new year.
This is marvelous - trying to capture birds myself - I have to be very patient or extremely lucky to get a good shot. Post when you can - miss you when you don't.
Such a beautiful shot and a fav from me! Excellent dof and composition and the droplets add a bit of sparkle. Love the bird and the detail on his feathers is wonderful.

@jgpittenger Thanks, Jane. We've just been really busy... bought an investment property and my focus and time has been tied up there. Lots of things I love about Christmas (especially the Reason for the Season), and lots of things about Christmas are hard... hope you have a merry one, time with those you love!
