This is a beautiful landscape for sure. Are you still feeling as if you have to move? We had to build a 15 ft high structure with electric wires around it after losing several bird feeders to bear. Good luck.
@jgpittenger We are postponing a decision about moving for now. Our age and health influence what we think we can do. As for the bear, we are taking feeders down at night for now. If it finds our koi pond in the backyard, it will wipe it out. We have firecrackers on hand to try to scare it off if it returns. The lady who owns 300+ acres behind us says there are several bears on her trail cams.
