Breaking Brick Walls

I haven’t been to the genealogy library in my city for years, so since it was cold and rainy, I decided to go for a few hours. I didn’t find anything new or break down any brick walls, but I did make a few copies and have a nice talk with the genealogical librarian. In fact, he told me about a cemetery in private property that I need to visit in the neighboring county, and I told him that I’ve been there and that my pictures of it are on the county’s website. Sadly, he told me that he thinks the cemetery was bulldozed over by the landowner. I guess it’s good that I took picture when I did!

I didn’t find anything new, but it was nice to talk to him and visit the library.
I have dabbled with my family tree info for some time- it's fun. Glad your day was a pleasant one! Is it legal to bulldoze over a cemetery??

Thank goodness for hard copy records! Hoping they are also digitizing what they have for ease of sharing online at some point.
